To the attention of our patients and partners!

Nowadays we are experiencing one of the most difficult periods for mankind as the coronavirus pandemic deepens and more restrictions are put in place around the world. As the statistics shows, around 176 countries and territories all over the globe have been affected by this invisible enemy.

We are open!

Although our offices remain open, First Egg Bank has implemented rigorous protection measures for its employees according to WHO guidelines.

Most of the administrative staff (coordinators, marketing and financial team) is working remotely from home and keeps providing customers with all necessary information. However, we took under our control the hygiene and sanitary conditions of our facilities for the rest of employees, who continue to work at our offices, as well as current patients and donors. Antiseptics have been installed at several points for the general convenience in order to ensure fast disinfection of hands.

Additionally there are coronavirus protection instructions located on all the front doors. At the entrance to our offices there is a medical representative measuring the temperature of employees and visitors. At presence of any suspicious symptoms the person is required to go home immediately. The above mentioned safety measures have been taken in order to prevent coronavirus infection spreading.

We continue working online!

  • All the inbound requests for oocytes reservation and shipments scheduling are processed by our coordinators in the shortest time possible as the customer care is our priority.

Pregnancy planning.

We understand that every country is unique and their response to the crisis is different. But given the facts of effective EU borders closure and some countries struggling to cope with this emergency, we regret that pregnancy planning must be postponed for some time due to the restrictions. But looking at some countries that seem to be getting over this sudden healthcare crisis, we look forward to resolution of this regretful situation.

Meanwhile we as an international gametes bank continue communication with each of our clients and we are ready to respond to any inquiry of a client in need of donor material.

We sincerely hope for speedy improvement of the situation in every country and corner of the Globe so everyone is able to switch to happy parenthood mode before too long!

We fully understand how important it is to help each other during the COVID-19 outbreak. Therefore First Egg Bank team is ready to give a hand to our customers during these hard times by implementing the following 3 options:

  • Payments postponing.

Many fertility clinics and centers are closed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Therefore many patients are unable to have their fertility cycles in time. We understand this situation and offer the possibility to postpone your payment under the following conditions: 10% of payment – upon the contract signing, the rest 90% should be paid after the borders of your country, where fertility treatment will take place, are reopened and air connections are renewed.

  • Up to 6 months free storage

You can store ordered donor biomaterial (oocytes, sperm, embryos) up to 6 months for free. No additional costs will be charged.

  • Up to 6 months free reservation

We understand that most of fertility clinics are closed because of the COVID-19 outbreak and do not accept any patients. It means that your cycle can be cancelled or postponed. Taking that into account we are offering to our customers the 6 months free reservation of the donor. You can be sure that your favorite donor is available when you are ready for your fertility treatment.

We guarantee the safety of donor material.

Embryology lab is closed but in order to guarantee the safety and appropriate storage of frozen donor material, there are embryologists on duty who keep on working and controlling the quantity of liquid nitrogen, as well as the temperature inside the shipper
